"Inferior accommodation we opted not to stay there"

The property was very hard to find because we were looking for something resembling a hotel. It was a residential house. Accomodation on the top floor would have been impossible to access with suitcases. We opted not to stay there and went to the Travelodge

Not the sort of accomodation we are used to staying in . We expected more of Booking.com and feel we were misled

Close to Woking town centre & train station (10 min walk). Quiet area. Car parking available. Excellent value for money. Kitchen facilities available.

Communication with landlord not great...questions prior to stay not answered. Messages sent after stay not responded to.

"Disastrous experience.the owner did attempt to rectify the situation but he was an ‘absent’ and not in control"

Chaotic organisation, entrance hall had 8 pair of shoes strewn around, someone else’s old food on our designated shelf in fridge, damaged draws to our first room, no curtains, moved rooms by removing existing couple then finding door to shower hanging off. Couldn’t fined WiFi code and no welcome pack provided. It felt like a house of multiple occupancy rather than an Airbnb.
