Beautiful New 4 Bedroom 3 Bath Family Home Or 1 BR Apt Nr Howard U Downtown NW DC

The location was perfect for our needs. The host was very helpful and responsive. Accessing the apartment was no problem and the parking available is very good. The apartment was warm and cozy.

There were a few unfortunate issues with the apartment that can be easily fixed for the next guest. The use of a plug-in scent gadget was overwhelming but this may be personal preference. There were two dangerously damaged high top stools that should be replaced. Finally, just prior to our arrival, the cleaning crew had sprayed fruit fly insecticide (a relatively benign brand) in certain spots on the walls of all the rooms; oily residue was dripping down the walls. Guests should be aware that noise from the upper floors reaches the apartment, but this is to be expected in a triple decker.

The contact person was very helpful and reliable. The Place was very nicely maintained and the location was great.

The apartment has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. A full kitchen with appliances and dishes. The kind hostess even left some provisions, drinking water, tea and coffee for the guests.

Perhaps the staircase to the entrance of the apartment needs to be widened, if possible. But it is probably not so easy to do.

Owner was very responsive. Had cooking facilities and cookware sufficient to cook for 7 people. Everything was relatively new. Place was very clean. A very good price for what was received. Easy to get to the Mall and other tourist locations.

Being in D.C., there were loud street noises (garbage trucks, sirens, etc) at random times.

Good host , The location is very good, with 4 busses within a 5 minute walk and 10 to 15 minutes to the Metro subway. The place could use some TLC and updating. The app started in that place a 4 bedroom with 3 bathrooms, but it was a 1 bedroom with 1 bathroom. The app is very miss leading on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The place could be aired out, which would Freshion the furniture because it was a little a little stuffy..

The the lower apartment had a lot issues that needed attention. We were calling the owner on a daily basis....very inconvient. It seemed like the apartment was poorly prepared for renters.

Location was good. Enough space for a large family.

The noise you could hear from the basement tenants.

The owner was great and really helpful. Had a little trouble with getting into the apt. but we got it worked out. Would stay there again when we are in DC.

Being accused of messing with the thermostat after clearly explaining the unit experienced an outage.
