Aspen Lodge

Beautiful lodge. Comfortable and spacious. TV reception not so good. Lots of buffering but didn't go there to just watch telly. Prosecco on arrival. Quiet area on site although you could hear some traffic noise from the main road but this did not affect our stay. Large hot tub. Would stay again.

Beautiful light and airy lodge with lots of space. Everything we needed was provided. Huge TVs, which for a week of chilling was perfect. Best of all the bed was lovely and comfy.

Hot tub was great.

WiFi was basically non existent. Had no tv’s to watch as it work through WiFi. No where to hang wet towels etc after showers/hot tub. Lots of broken tiles on kitchen floor. Towel rail not working in bathroom.

Staying over the Christmas period for a complete refresh and did just that! We arrived to a spotlessly clean lodge with Christmas tree up and festive music on the telly. There was also a very thoughtful gift basket complete with x-mas card with lots of local recommendations, prosecco, some sweet treats and a couple of other fab things! The lodge itself is very spacious but still cosy and with the underfloor heating (easy to control through thermostat) we were never cold during our stay. On the park there is the Crazy Horse Saloon Bar with a smaller dog friendly area which we visited, (people are lovely). Hot tub is huge and very warm with well lit lighting around the side of the lodge too, however not fenced off area for dogs which didn't bother us. I would 100% recommend staying here, we will be back!

WIFI slightly dodgy but didn't massively interrupt our stay. We never needed to use TV's in rooms but not sure signal worked too well when we tried once. Thank you so much!

Cabin very poorly stocked compared to others on site which weren’t as expensive.

2 toilet rolls for a family of 5 for 4 days Milk would have been better than procecco Heating came on late at 9pm having 3 kids it was freezing Boiler had to be re pressurised Lodge was not cleaned under sofa bed i thought it was a used condom thankfully it was an old balloon and dropped gummy bears as well as muck. When we removed the bedding there was a stain on main bed which unfortunatley was a wee stain Coffee and sugar sachets were stuck together and old. Tiles in kitchen a bit loose prob to do with underfloor heating

Beautiful lodge

The property was large enough for my family of 4 and a small dog, plenty of space both inside and outside, a warm modern feel and beautiful kitchen. Reasonable priced. We will be booking again! Nearby zoo was a great like place to visit with small children.

The property itself was amazing, with a few small adjustments it could be even better. -The TV signals in the rooms are shocking and unwatchable. With small children this caused a problem with early morning wake ups to keep them occupied. -The bathroom 100% needs a bathmat with getting in and out the shower. The tiles are so slippery when wet my daughter nearly slipped getting out. -The surrounding outside area is huge however being a dog and child family we could have gained from a more secured decking area to let the dog go outside freely and more outside seating as there is only 2 seats but the property sleeps 6. But overall it was still amazing 🤩
