Great location, totally remote. Not far from Cherokee and Bryson City, Fontana Lake and the dragon's tail, SR129. Nice and peaceful with a beautiful view from the balcony. Nice fire pit and cookout area. Nice kitchen with plenty of counter space. Plenty of dishware, pots and pans, etc . Absolutely beautiful and spacious master bath walk-in shower. Nice tv in the living room with plenty to watch. and also tv in the game room. Satellite internet for good and fast wifi.
Hot tub doesn't seem to work just right. Couldn't get some of the jets to work, but not a problem., still enjoyed it a few times. AC blower is very noisy. You can hear it come on while sleeping. Getting up to the place is a little bit challenging. Got turned around the first attempt up a couple of times, partially due to the Apple GPS. Google GPS worked better. Didn't read the email close enough to get through the gate code prior to driving up the second time (at night) and had to call and get the code. Didn't like driving up to the property at night. It's too steep and narrow to navigate. There's no room for error. Almost need a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle to get to the property. Again, too steep and narrow for a 2 wheel drive vehicle. There's no railing on the front porch. We had a slightly disabled Mother with us and it was hard for her to get up the stairs to the front porch. Also, had to drive Mother down to the lower level at night so she could go to her bed and bring her up in the morning for the day. Air hockey table is unlevel, sinks to one corner, but still fun to play. Ping pong table needs a little work. One half sits a little higher than the other side.
