Please inform Round Tower Holiday Apartments - Seafront 1,2 & 3 Bedroom Homes Free Parking, WiFi in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests will receive a rental agreement which must be signed and returned to the property prior to arrival. If guests do not receive the agreement on time, they should contact the property management company at the number on the booking confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of GBP 250 is required. The host charges this 14 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Very good"

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor. The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We loved the convenient location close to the local town, shop around the corner, and near the local bus stop. Wished I had more time there.

Other than that, I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back maybe one day.

"Essentials missing, management company unresponsive. Wouldn’t stay again."

New furnishings.

This place is not as advertised. It is missing the essentials - a hairdryer, lightbulbs missing from lamps and from one of the room light sockets, a crib and high chair (although I requested at the time of booking, one week before and the day of check in). I contacted the management company as soon as we checked in and found no crib, and they told us they would contact the relevant company and get back to us. They never got back to us and we followed up repeatedly, until they told us they couldn’t get hold of the relevant team so we would have no crib for the night. We had to hold our baby all night and got no sleep. It took until 1pm and multiple phone calls the following day before we got the crib. The toilet was unflushed and dirty when we arrived. The dishwasher had no salt and only 2 tabs for a week’s stay. There is absolutely no storage, bar one single wardrobe which can fit about 8 items. The bathrooms are so small they are almost unusable (sinks too small to wash both hands at same time). We were left with no welcome packet or instructions about the property and the management company are unresponsive when we ask for help (for instance, where do we put our trash? Answer, the trash was overflowing out of the industrial bin and guests were throwing more trash on top). We rent properties frequently and this has been the worst experience I have ever dealt with.

"Great location."

The apartment was nicely decorated and furnished, with a very modern feel. The towels and bedding were clean. The location was perfect. We found the beds comfortable. There was plenty of storage. With a dishwasher (although we never used it) a nice size fridge and freezer and a washing machine.

The communal areas where not kept very clean, even though the cleaners were in the building regular. There were only 4 plates, dishes, mugs, knives and fork, we had booked for 5 people and I believe it could hold 6? Although there was a washer there was no where to dry anything. The heating could not be controlled from the apartment, maybe a small airer would be a good idea? We like to tidy each day to keep the place clean, but the hoover was completely blocked with what I can only think was building debris. I did manage to unblock it, but if the cleaners use the same one, I question how they managed it. The biggest thing for me was the £250 deposit, which took 2 weeks to get refunded. I book a lot of digs for workers and have never been asked for so much and had to wait so long for it to be returned. It is a real shame because this place could be a little gem, if it was run well.

"Disappointing key hand over and rooms smelt of cigarette smoke. Bad security doors left open daily."

Its the worst experience chasing them down to get in whilst sat outside for hours needing the toilet - this has happened multiple times now.
