"Lovely property but disappointing features"

Quiet location tasteful decoration

Ensuite bathroom door didn't shut properly. Toilet seat wasn't quite secure, toilet brush was disgusting.dirty marks around every door handle and broken chair in lounge. Lovely outside area with stoned area and raised decking. Every where lots of weeds and decking needed brushing. House could accommodate 7 but only seating for 4 in kitchen and outside.

Bedding and towels were spotless. Full marks for the owner’s quick response to a complaint re: hot water tepid and a problem with the shower.

The general cleanliness was poor. All room corners had accumulated debris and webs. The oven and cooker hood were greasy, plus the crockery and cutlery needed washing before we could use. The garden, back and front would benefit from some attention-loads of weeds.

Next door to open space and footpath, so great for walking our dog before going out for the day. Also a quiet neighbourhood and friendly locals. The house has solid floors and is kept very clean.

Hot water tank very noisy all night, no curtains just bedroom roller blinds let in light in the early morning. Heating only seemed to work on the radiators upstairs but then we only put it on for an hour or two in the evening. These things may not be an issue for some people, but we are both light sleepers.

Residential area nice and quiet. Well maintained.
