Grand 2 bed Georgian apartment at Florence House with king bed, in the heart of Herne Bay & 300m from beach

Location superb We were visiting family so know the area well For holidays or businesses, the central location works well. Good space and decor throughout and well equipped kitchen.

The main bedroom window would not stay open, making sleeping difficult. While there is a fan, I personally did not like the noise. The sash windows are part of the period charm, but in hot weather, they are also a problem if you like fresh air. The lounge carpet needs attention, as does the condition of the shower.

No breakfast provided, but detailed information on where to eat nearby and excellent recommendations.

Council rubbish removal was messy in the street of Herne Bay. Bags were ripped and not adequate for the job.

Nicely furnished, good location, well equipped and nice and clean

The cleaner was a bit unfriendly because we were 30 minutes late leaving due to over- sleeping. Totally understand it was an inconvenience to her and completely our fault though.

Superb location. Lovely apartment and very helpful host. A pint of milk and cake on arrival was very thoughtful.

Location was good. The owner was very welcoming.

It didn't live up to the 'Luxury' title. The carpets were worn, and the kitchen worktop was broken. The wardrobe in the second bedroom was full of stuff, so it was unusable. We had lots of tiny moths flying about. The upstairs apartment was very noisy, you could hear everything.

A lovely apartment, nicely decorated, comfortably furnished and with good amenities. Short walk to the beach, with excellent ice-cream shop at end of road to the beach. Other shops, cafes etc withing easy reach. Plenty of parking very close - with the permit for a small extra fee.

Fault with the carbon monoxide monitor, but owner responded appropriately, and very quickly despite it being late evening.
