Grand 2 bed Georgian apartment at Florence House with king bed, in the heart of Herne Bay & 300m from beach

Location is good.

Bathroom too small with a tiny shower booth. Room ventilation not good under hot sunny days.

Amazing flat. Very spacious. Clear instructions from the host. Would recommend and hope to use again 👍

The tv signal was weak. Was out most of the time, Sunday evening spent some time in the apartment and the tv signal struggled from time to time

From the start a friendly welcome from the host. The location of the apartment easily accessible to the beach and amenities. The apartment itself comfortable and pleasant.

The size of the shower, however it worked perfectly well, just would have liked a little more space. Fresh towels and bath mat provided.

Great location, just a short walk from the beach, many shops nearby (Aldi, Morrisons) pristine tidiness, stylish interior, well equipped kitchen, full of light sitting room with a cute loveseat in the bay window. Great shower, comfortable bed, snow white large towels. Swimming pool, gym opposite side of the road, eateries nearby. Fresh fruits, tea, coffee, Swiss roll at arrival, very kind gesture!

We couldn't find anything wrong

Lovely, spacious and very comfortable flat in a great location. Swimming pool and supermarkets across the road and a very short walk to the beach. Communication with Oliver was good before as well as during our stay. We were allowed to leave our suitcases at the flat for an extra couple of hours after check-out, which was much appreciated since we were travelling by train. We stayed during the coronation weekend, and the cake and bunting provided were lovely touches! My children are asking to go back, and I don't blame them!

Access to the garden was blocked off during our stay, which was a little disappointing. It would have been great to have a notice somewhere about wifi access, to save us from crawling on the floor to find the password at the back of the router! I asked for three extra towels for use at the swimming pool, and had to pay £9 for these, which felt a little stingy when we had already paid hundreds of pounds to stay at the flat. There is no dining table, only a breakfast bar with space for two people, so I had to eat every meal standing up or sitting on the sofa. I would get rid of one of two of the huge armchairs, which would provide enough space for a small table. Would also have loved recycling facilities, and instructions for where to leave rubbish.

Very close to all places offering selection of food and traditional English breakfast. We liked the location and the comfortable indoor space of the apartment. All facilities within walking distance made our stay very relaxed. The independent character of local businesses make Herne Bay unique place on a map.

A little detail re cleanliness: the limescale wasn't fully removed from the kitchenware.
