FV007 St Osyth Beach Holiday Park

Nothing as it was unsafe and disgusting I went in to the caravan took pictures and locked the caravan back up. I wouldn’t let my daughters even enter the caravan because it was that bad.

Everything on arrival the front door was tapped with brown tape as it was broken the kitchen was filthy the microwave was dirty fridge had little bits of crumbs in it the freeze had hairs and dirty in it the kitchen sides had crumbs and sticky. in the living room parts of the carpet was missing and again can trip on it as it’s lifted up. the sofa was filthy and had holes in it the table had crumbs on it and was dirty. The bathroom had mould in shower the shower glass was so dirty you couldn’t even see through it dirt everywhere floors was sticky bathroom door gad a hole in it above the door handle. Part of the Blind was broke. The other toilets was dirty there was rusted on the radiator. 1st bedroom again was dirty all the bedding had stains on it the mattress was to small for the bed frame. 2nd bedroom double bed mattress had stains on it you couldn’t even clearly see it is an old mattress as it was out of shape floor was dirty need to be hoovered dust over everything. The decking on step was broke and a trip hazard and decking was dirty. The path up to the decking was broken and uneven very easy to trip on. On the caravan its self has little bits of metal that are shape and could cut your arm on.

The property was dirty and unhygienic to the point that we couldn’t cook In the caravan. We had to use sheets to cover the sofas so we could sit on them as it was filthy. I have plenty more photos I can provide to support my complaint.

The phone number connected to the Caravan when I tried to call, said it wasn’t recognised. We got lost coming in trying to find the caravan and it was very stressful with the only source of contact was through the app on a chat.

I’m not normally a fussy person, but they were dirty hand prints everywhere poo skids in the toilet. Unstripped beds from the previous person who rented it out, Balloons with greasy hand marks underneath the bed which was obviously left by the previous people also. Luckily, I did bring My own cleaning stuff, so I cleaned it all down and made it more homely for us to spend the weekend in. The sofa was dirty and dusty, but I had a blanket over it for us to sit on. Also the sofa bed had body fluid marks on it so we couldn’t use it so yeah overall it wasn’t good it’s just upsetting because that Caravan is a lovely caravan with the right at Mount of love it’s just a shame to see people take things for granted, We are people who like to come back to the caravan site, and would of liked to use it again, but because of the lack of care I would never use this Caravan on our next stay

It was not clean and unsanitary a lot of stuff was damaged before we even arrived and it made one of us have an asthma attack from the amount of dust and smell of cigarettes

The door doesn't close properly, no inside latch, and gapping hole when closed/locked as if wasn't locked doesn't shut, ny mum had items stolen from the caravan whilst we was out and contacted the owner to state what had happened and told we had contacted the police and they was needing to get in contact but have had no responce 2 weeks later from owner, the front window was cracked and a stick tile put over it. Holes in the wall, red stains on the ceiling

It was spacious.

I was very disappointed when walking in the property, it was dirty, sticky and greasy kitchen, dog food all over the floor, stunk of smoke and could tell it hadn’t been clean. The security was awful as you can see in the picture of the front door, even when lock you could open it, there was holes all in the walls, cigarette burns in all the furniture, a massive crack in the window and a front glazing missing. There was also no curtains in 2 of the bedrooms, the overall hygiene of the van was disgusting. Definitely will not be staying again.
