Our Lodge at Newquay Bay NB35

The caravan was in a great location and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Close to the leisure activities and the outdoor pool was fantastic in this weather. We walked to Porth beach which took around 20 minutes and it’s about 4 minute drive to Newquay. We hired linen which made it much easier. Will definitely be back

The living room and kitchen are big and easy to move around.. sofa is very comfortable, playing cards were there which was nice for passing time. This place is a very good choice for summer but not for winter. There is no network coverage so please be there before resort office closure time or you may face difficulties in identifying the property, though this property is on the main road. Initially we couldn't connect with landlords after booking but later it was sorted and they have given a good response after that. This place was not bad but i felt this was overpriced for winter.

1. Duvet and linens are old and with stains. Even though we paid an additional 15 pounds, it shouldn't have been in such bad condition 2. Heating is slow and couldn't be increased. Boiler settings are a bit tricky. 3. The water drain on the kitchen is slow 4. Bathroom Shower speed is very slow 5. Utensils are not cleaned 6. The bedroom sizes are small ( maybe I expected it to be bigger) 7. The bed couldn't have been stronger as we can literally feel the springs 8. Usually coffee and tea bags will be there but only one sachet of each was there ( again my expectations could be wrong ) ,i bought some the next day.

The contact with the owners i paid the £100 deposit it was left how we found it but they haven't replied to calls or text messages to return my deposit i think this is disgusting as wanted to us it more often can u help sort this

The park was very well maintained, beautiful surroundings and close to the main town. The accommodation was clean and tidy and well maintained

The location is good, with Porth Beach less than a mile away, which is a massive area of sand and has a small water stream running from the roadside (next to the big car park), to the sea. Many families were scattered along the beach without choosing to go right down to the sea as the younger children were happy to play in the stream. There were lifeguards on this beach giving that extra reassurance for safety. On site there's a great size indoor pool and a smaller outdoor one. Both have play parks next to them for the younger children. Also a small (but pricey) convenience shop and a launderette opposite. Both are maybe 50ft from the caravan.
