Guest house "NIKA", Nukus

English speaking host! They gave me a private room when I booked dorm!! Looked like a good kitchen too

Really lovely room. Didn't expect my own bathroom and kitchenette. Only stayed one day, but it was a perfect room for me. Would have liked to stay longer. A little out of the centre of town, but for the price and quality of the room, totally worth it. Plus, not too far from the train station.

The dog in the yard was pretty aggressive.

The family who run this guest house are extremely kind and generous. There were two young people, one boy and a very sweetheart girl who spoke very good English and they helped us with information and with everything we needed. We saw some watermelons in their garden and wanted to buy it, but they didn’t take our money. Next day, the very sweet young lady came to offer grapes that were grown in their garden. They let us use the washing machine for free, which helped A LOT, we were there in the end of July, temperate above 40 degree Celsius!!!! There’s free mineral water and place to sit outside and relax, place to hang our clothing to dry. In spite of the hot weather it’s a very nice place to relax. Definitely we plan to return again to this guest house. Their generosity is just amazing.

Comfy hostel in a quiet neighbourhood. The room was clean and had an AC to cool you down. Well equipped kitchen and free water provided. Close to a small supermarket. It has a nice courtyard where you can relax on a large carpet bed and store your bike savely. The host's daughter speaks English fluently. Free laundry! Thanks!
