Guest house "NIKA", Nukus

Nika and her family were lovely. This is a genuine homestay and the family members were very kind and helpful during my 3 night stay. Would definitely recommend this over other more typical hotels that appear very boring.

Friendly, helpful staff. Offered me a lovely homemade meal free of charge!

On a side and quiet road in central Nukus, the house is comfortable and clean. Fantastic value for money. I booked the queen size bedroom and it was great!

- Horrible area to stay in Nukus, nothing is nearby or walkable, you have to rely on Yandex. - I don't understand the good reviews about the family who runs this place. Nothing "warming" or "sweet" about the host. We asked upfront if it's possible to have dinner since we arrived late that day, she said yes ofc but as we arrived there was no dinner & apparently no possibility to cook something. On the day of departure the host was very brief with us, no goodbye or nothing, just "you pay now" and that was it. Not a nice place to stay if you expect Uzbek hospitality.
