Yew Tree Cottage, 3 bedroom, 4 Church Row Defynnog

The location was beautiful, countryside location. The church was stunning and the yew trees were well worth looking at.

I can’t think of any dislikes, everything was perfect.

Location is excellent, 15 mins drive to Pen y Fen. We spent a great weekend on this property.

Very easy and straightforward check-in and check-out. The place was in good condition.

Lovely house, good view from the back. Everything was as advertised.

The beds were lovely and comfortable. Had a lovely pony feel. Had a nice homely feel. Bathroom was tidy and clean. Shower was a good water pressure. Overall. Lovely little cottage. Would definitely stay again

Comfortable and clean. Cheery and bright. Gorgeous church and grounds immediately behind- well worth a wander for the pretty stained glass and ancient tree.

I would have liked some written info, which may have been there, somewhere, but we didn't find. It would have helped to have the info on how to turn on the hot water, or even better for it to have been on already. Small matter, but as you ask...

The property was fine, the hosts were easy to get hold of when entering the property and seemed very nice. Unfortunately when going to run the bath, the bath was not connected to water, so despite photos being shown on the booking.com page, the description saying bath or shower available, and when searching for properties with a bath, I had also used a filter and this property came up, so disappointed when I went to run my baby a bath. Because of this we checked out first thing the next day, and only stayed one night out of two. I contacted the host, and then have felt palmed off since, the host became uninterested in resolving it (what I think) was fair. I gave the benefit of the doubt, and only asked for the second night to be refunded, the host agreed to the second night being refunded, but by the time everyone (booking.com and the host) took their cuts, I was not left with 50% of what I paid, in fact it was 39%, so very disappointed. Also the TV and wifi didn't work, no channels were available and we couldn't access any wifi
