"Nice old cottage near the station"

Amazing location and very well equipped kitchen

Given the wrong codes at check in so had to call them for entry. Also WiFi was dodgy.

The location in Teignmouth

Both toilet seats were loose and dangerous. The glasses weren't clean. The WiFi was broken It took 24 hours to fix. Only continuous pressure to the management company fixed it and even then it didn't connect with the TV. So no smart TV facility. Decor was shabby and it reminded me of student accommodation.

I have rated this as poor as we were let down, due to the bathroom having issues, a few days before. I am still chasing the refund. It might be that the place was fabulous but I just don’t know

We were cancelled by the hosts..so I cannot say what I did or did not like. But it’s poor that I am carrying the cost of a cancelled booking plus the cost of the alternative accommodation I had to find at short notice.

"Very pleasant, very comfortable end-of-terrace house, close to everything in Teignmouth."

Location near the railway station was excellent. House delightfully furnished, with lovely paintings on the walls. Beds really comfortable.

Shampoo in the shower would have been nice. Maybe a microwave in the kitchen too (although that is a personal choice)

"Chez Nous"

The cottage was in a good location, 2 minutes walk into town. I loved the artwork situated around the house, and the house was dressed beautifully. It was also very clean.

The bathroom door didn't close properly, and the lock was broken. The shower head holder was broken. The toilet seat was wobbly and wouldn't stay up. The house smells quite damp and needs updating. The arm of the sofa was wobbly, and the bed in the room with the toilet had, at some point, broke because it had been repaired with cuts of wood. Stains on the bedroom carpets. A microwave would have been handy, too.
