Modern studio apartment; 10min walk to town & quay

I wondered if it would be noisy being on a busy street but once the windows were shut, it was fine. It was a lovely cosy place to stop for the night, close to shops and the quayside.

I think other reviewers have mentioned that a toaster would be helpful, but we just had pastries instead :) Not an issue for a one-night stay but if we had been staying longer, maybe.

Every year my partner and I do a Christmas trip to Exeter to enjoy the market, a meal out and pub crawl. This apartment suited us perfectly as we only needed somewhere affordable to sleep within walking distance of town. The place was clean and had all the amenities for self-catered stay. Bed comfortable, nice shower and easy instructions to get in. Car park opposite £10 for all day. Close to Greggs bakery, Tesco Express, Co-op and late night food options after night on the town. Area felt safe and walked into middle of town about 15-20 mins away no problem. Would stay again.

One more towel would be perfect as only had 1 between two of us, this is a very minor gripe. There is noise from the road (we knew this would be the case) but if you need a peaceful sleep perhaps not ideal Otherwise perfect no issues

Apartment was in a good location near to town and Quay. It was very clean and had everything that was needed for our short stay.

Couldn't find parking without permit on street parking and carpark opposite was £10 for overnight.

Not the nicest area and having to pay £10 per day parking opposite. Quite a busy road it's on, so if you are a light sleeper could be an issue. The .10min walk to the city was ok. When booking this accommodation there should be a true representation of where it is and what the outside looks like. The photo used of the nice Georgian buildings opposite the cathedral is very misleading, just an honest external picture of where you will be staying for people to make their own mind up would have been fine. A toaster would be handy in the kitchen.

Only a 1 night stay, nice secure entry system and the room was clean with everything needed for our stay. Very good value for money.

All as expected

It’s a cute little place with just what you need for an evening stay if your intention is to be out and to have somewhere to change, shower and sleep. It’s decorated nicely and the location is great for the Quay!

The access isn’t very attractive, but the price reflects that. If there had been more than one flat pillow per person, we might have slept well, but without more pillows the bed was uncomfortable for us. I’d suggest a box under the TV with some additional bedding options, as we’d likely have given full stars if we’d had a decent sleep.

It was very spacious and clean and stylish and even had some provisions to use which I didn’t really use as I brought my own things but was a nice surprise the only thing was there was no way to use the the tv ‘stick’ and system unless like me you could find a work around so I got it working and was able to enjoy my YouTube and my Netflix
