Close to the downtown

Tails is noisy parquet, and whenever you move produces noise, cannot move around the apartment and you might wake up whoever sleeping! Doors are noisy and slammed the frame whenever opening or closing. Windows are opposite the main road and no noise cancellation at all in the apartment, cars passing by, people shouting and singing (name it) you can hear everything literally and can’t sleep. Bed mattress is not comfortable, sheets are classic design not similar to hotels. Location is in the street corridor and no security access well defined looks like you are in the middle of nowhere specially at night it’s creepy! I left the apartment after my first night! I do not recommend anyone to stay unless those observations being considered. Living room is quite large size (good) with classical style clean. Internet issue was reported from day one and never being fixed until I left the apartment! No action been taken by the host other than replying back that we will check it! Don’t trust the photos it shows something different than reality

"Very nice"

An excellent location, in the heart of the city, close to the central railway station, the castle, museums and bridges. The Eldon Square, the Gate, Grainger Market and Tesco are nearby. The flat has a lot of facilities, excellent kitchen and living room layout, cosy bedroom, we had a very nice stay. The host sent a video and instructions how to find the property, which made everything easy. The host also stayed in touch. Earplugs are provided because it tends to become noisy during the weekend but we found it manageable without them.

We had some issues with the shower but we were not very handy at adjusting it. A wardrobe in the bedroom would have been useful.

Apartment was fantastic great facilities provided and location was perfect our host was only a call or message away and answered our query’s fast and professional we would definitely stay here again and recommend this property to our friends

"Excellent location"

Excellent central location, minutes from the city centre and a 5 minute walk to the train station. The owners provided plenty of information about how to access the property, and were very helpful when we had trouble accessing the key box. The flat had an excellent provision of amenities such as cooking tools, towels etc. as well as extra bedding. The room was very clean, earplugs were also provided which was a bonus as it is very noisy outside with the busy traffic.

"A miserable experience - steer well clear."

Nothing really.

Pretty much everything. The place was filthy, the kind of filthy where you just don't want to put your bag down or touch anything, even the light switches. Bedding had clearly been used before. There was rubbish in the bathroom left by the previous guest. The wifi didn't work, the entertainment system didn't work (even on a hotspot), the power board fused in the morning so we were without power to make breakfast and received no reply to my messages - had to pack up early and leave to get breakfast elsewhere. It was delightful to see fresh bloodstains in the hall as we were leaving. Plus, once you have booked, you either have to purchase insurance (over £30) or pay over £7 to lodge a £350 deposit - this is not mentioned until after you have made your un-cancelable booking and you have no choice but to make the extra payment. The worst thing is the customer service - it is truly shocking - after over a month I have still not received the partial refund I asked for. I was offered a credit note plus 'extra treats' if I booked with them again. Seriously, hell would have to freeze over before I did that.

"Comfy apartment in the heart of Newcastle"

The place was very cosy and comfortable. And the location is right in the City centre.

The cleaning could've been done much better. I out most things in the washing machine mainly due to the smell. The place smelt very musty upon arriving, so would suggest opening the windows and 'airing' place out before the guest arrive. It had a few minor maintenance issues like wires on the floor. Tape on the bathroom ceiling and the blinds and curtains could be better fitted.

"Great astay"

Clean and tidy and ideal location right in the centre

It is quite noisy but that's to be expected, ear plugs were provided so that's great.

Blinds are all broke so felt a little exposed needs a touch up paint but that’s it definitely a nice little apartment

Totally unsatisfactory . Owners refuse to respond , full refund refused .

Shower scalding hot , no way to regulate . Lounge mat presented trip hazard , electric fire right next to bed presenting a fire hazard , wardrobe backing coming adrift etc . Many intrusive demands prior to entry ( eg photocopy of passport etc ) , compulsory insurance demanded and paid with no prior warning - all for the first time in many year of booking with Booking.com
