Ashfield Co-Living - Private Room Self-Cater

The house was lovely and clean, with all of the facilities I needed for my trip. It was great to have the option to cook a meal or store food if necessary, and a common living room with a tv and dining area if I needed to use them. The room itself had a private bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer, plenty of towels, and instructions for turning on the water and heating. The room was small but the perfect size for one person! The house also felt safe as accessing the building required a passcode, which meant there was also no risk of losing access to the building without a key. The location was okay, although not central and a long walk to the main part of the city, a direct bus stop is less than a 5 minute walk from the front door.

I couldn't get the shower to provide hot water, though I may have needed to run it longer to get this, and the shower basin also filled up with water quickly.

The house was warm, the kitchen was clean. The location is close to my work place.

While the whole house was warm and comfortable,my bedroom was extremely cold. The little heater could barely heat up the room and it took over 3 hours to have the room slightly warm and the water from the shower was lukewarm at best, making taking showers unpleasant experiences.

Value for money, easy accesibility, host is easy to contact for help

Bathroom drains have an overwhelming smell that fills the room. Bathroom fan did not work. Their website malfunctioned when it came to pay a refundable deposit. That led to me having to transfer the deposit via bank and pay more unanticipated fees and receiving a deducted deposit for a mistake that was not my responsibility.
