Absolutely nothing. Everything is falling apart, rusty, mouldy and overall dirty and well passed its use by date. The floors have holes underneath the carpet so the floor is uneven and dangerous. The main gas boiler for the entire house is in the apartment which is in the basement of the house. Carbon monoxide alarm was there but without batteries so completely useless. It was cold and there were limited windows for light given it’s in the basement, although we checked out within hours of arrival because it was so bad so can’t comment on the light. Serious security issues see following comments.

When we arrived at the property, we noticed that there was a set of drawers in front of a brown curtain. When we looked behind the brown curtain we saw there was a sliding door which leads to another room we could see there was clearly somebody staying in that room as you could open the door without any key or security. We messaged the landlord and enquired whether there was somebody else staying in that room because we were concerned about security given we were there with our 2 year old little boy to which we did not receive a response. At 12:30 am two men entered the room via the main house entrance and were drinking and partying for at least an hour before returning again at 4.30 am bear in mind that the only thing separating us from them was a sliding door and a brown curtain. I don’t understand what is the point of having key code access when you can enter the property through other doors which are completely unlocked and unsecured. To top it up, they had a propane gas heater going, recall from my previous comments that there was no carbon monoxide alarm functioning in the apartment. This apartment is not suitable for anyone, it’s numerous security issues along with its cleanliness issues make it unfit and totally uninhabitable. Then two weeks after checking out having sent a number of messages to the landlord notifying them that we had checked out and listed the reasons above she sends us a message asking us to give her a review all smiley faces and 10 out of tens and if we can’t give smiley faces and 10 out of 10 don’t leave her a review at all because no review is better than a bad review. The absolute audacity of this woman is truly incredible.

It was cozy, the fact that they had games and the decorations caught my eye, the host made it a very comfortable stay and helped us whenever it was needed. I like the fact it’s secluded and very clean.

Omg nice and clean .. the attitude and personality of the owner omg the best place please don’t think it just book the place you will not regret.. God bless you .. the amenities are amazing love the app .. if I could rent that all year believe me I will

I love everything on the property

Not much

The experience was horrible. They had a remote that only turned on and off the tv. We had to ask them for an antenna to get stations. Then after we got antenna the remote didn’t allow you to change stations. So you had to get on the floor and change it by hand which was very time consuming, so just got stuck watching whatever station we landed on. We were able to stream movies when we first got there when I logged into my Netflix. Then 2 days later we weren’t able to stream any movies for the rest of the stay. I text them to reboot the modem but they did not reply. So once again we got stuck watching crap on tv. The reason we got away was to get rest, lay in bed and watch movies. Then all the ants all over the kitchen counters were horrible and got in our food that was wrapped from restaurant in the round aluminum tin with a plastic lid on top. Then the topper, the remote for streaming died and I wasn’t able to log in to delete my account so others wouldn’t be able to use it in the future. I told him what happened with no reply. So my husband had to pay over $8.00 to buy batteries for the remote right before we left to log out of Netflix. I don’t even get into that there was no water pressure in the shower.

The location is great, not far from NY and major entertainment areas, parking on the street was easily available, but just watch out for the sign that says dont park Tuesdays some time in the morning. The place is really quiet, which for me - the light sleeper, was a pleasant surprise:) Loved the bed, its very comfortable and doesnt squeak, which is again, essential Wifi was great, very fast The comminication with the host was perfect, they are very attentive and caring

Water in the shower couuld of been little warmer, but i guess its a temp issue. Also

Property manager took days to respond. Whole apartment felt very dirty and sticky. It was super hot down there. Shower temp was scalding hot, and then it wouldn’t shut off, when I brought to her attention she accused me of breaking the shower. There were giant bugs in the bathroom. The upstairs people were so loud all night. I only stayed 3 out of the 12 nights I was supposed because it was so bad. When I finally got ahold of the property manager to kindly ask for a partial refund for the nights I didn’t stay she became highly argumentative, screaming at me, swearing at me untill she finally hung up and blocked me.
