The pictures are deceiving - this is not a studio apartment - it is a double room that could have been cleaner. All of the photos on Booking.com were of the shared kitchen (not the apartment) which was not clean and had a full bin, dirty cloths in the sink and a general feeling of shabbiness. It was airless and overly perfumed with air freshener - windows were filthy when drawing back the skylight blind The bathroom was tiny - sink so small that water gushed out on you and your knees touched the wall when sitting on the loo It should have been half the price - And I should have read the reviews first

The location was very handy for the university. Staff were friendly and communication before arrival was good.

The room was quite tired. Carpet had seen better days and room wasn’t particularly clean - dust and some stains on the carpet and glass door panels.

Smell of smoke on arrival. Found a cup with ash in it left in cupboard

Staff were very kind and responsive.

It was dirty AWFUL DIRTY and full of spiders. I know it's a cheap, near uni place in a poor area, but really, it was terribly dirty...

The room size is good. Besides, it's just 7 minutes from the south part of UoB and 3-4 minutes to all the shops, which are very convenient.

The room didn't provide slippers, which was a pity.

Easy check in and good location for QE hospital.

No tea towel for kitchen facilities.

the place was clean and nice to stay. the bed was comfortable and the bathroom good.

the walls felt quite thin as i could hear the neighbours and what they were saying, although this can’t really be changed about the property
