Pendle Hill Barley 17th Century 2 bed-bath period cottage

The cottage was cozy, comfortable and very clean. It was in a fantastic location with walks and 2 eating establishments on our doorstep. The owner was very polite and send excellent communication so that everything went smoothly.

We stayed for one day and wish we’d have booked for longer. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, wanted for nothing while we were there. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We will be returning, for longer next time!

The cottage was exceptionally comfortable and well-appointed to a luxurious level. Imagination and flair were evident in every regard. Simon kindly allowed us to check-in a little early, thereby facilitating our aim to climb Pendle Hill that same day ( from the doorstep !) The cottage location was novel and interesting. A local parking permit was included for roadside parking, almost adjacent.

To be perfectly honest, nothing was found to be wanting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved absolutely everything! The house is just like in the photos, the rooms are just the right size, excellent taste in décor and objects used to give off that cool vibe. Loved everything in there, from the AGA and the stuff in the kitchen to the comfy beds and good quality toiletries. I wished I could afford buying the place :)) Everything was of good quality and good taste, clean and tidy.

Perfect location, beautiful accommodation, and furnishings. Very comfortable beds and loved the extras (milk, coffee machine, slippers etc)
