Location excellent, dog friendly, very peaceful. Very clean. Nice welcome pack. On street parking just outside cottage. Extremely well stocked, everything you could possibly need. Lovely decor. Small outside sitting area. Good wifi signal. Friendly neighbours.

"Breathtaking! A jewel of a cottage"

Why isnt there a rating for 10+? I, head of the family walked in and all I kept saying was WOW!!! The cottage was immaculate and had EVERYTHING you could imagine..and more! Even though there is a pub next door, it was quiet. The walk up Pendle hill is not for the faint hearted, and I didn't attempt it but the photos my family took were amazing! Stunning quaint cottage, full of character. The views from the cottage and on walks are stunning. I loved it and want to go back. I WILL go back!

Nothing really! The Aga took some getting used to but thats probably just me

The cottage was is amazing in that it has maintained the classic feel of the 1800s, whilst seamlessly blending the contemporary tens that make modern life easier. The little street is so quaint and fits with the feel of the whole village.

"An exceptional and well appointed cottage in a divine location, just wonderful"

The cottage is exceptional; extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need has been provided. We arrived on a damp afternoon in April, but the cottage was so welcoming and warm. The beds are amazingly comfortable with a choice of excellent high quality pillows - I slept so very well. Simon is brilliant, very helpful and provided comprehensive information which made our stay effortless. The Barleymow around the corner has great food and a lovely atmosphere, we enjoyed sampling both dinner and breakfast. The walks from the door are amazing and the scenery all around stunning. A wonderful break and hope to return.
