Cosy Courtyard Cottage sleeps 4 with Log Burner, close to Cambridge

Great location and charming

Stairs were extremely steep and not ideal for our toddler, but fine for adults etc. Parking was a little precarious.. as on the road side. Entrance all needs blinds as you can’t walk out of the bathroom without everyone seeing you.

Sfeervolle cottage met ruime eetkeuken (grote koelkast) en knusse zitkamer. Ligbad. Perfecte busverbinding met centrum Cambridge.

Geluidhinder van de weg in avond en vroege ochtend. Met raam open slapen kan niet. Deel keukenspullen beperkt aanwezig voor 4 personen (bestek). Fijne regendouche maar geen douchecabine waardoor de ruimte nat wordt.

Charmant village, jolie maison confortable et bien équipée. Pubs, cafés et restaurants à proximité. Arrêt de bus juste en face de la maison pour la ligne 100 qui va à Cambridge centre en 30 mn. Très pratique.

Serrure difficile à ouvrir, problème de thermostat de la douche, signalés au propriétaire.

Beds were comfortable

Flickering downlighters in bathroom were so bad couldn't use them. Had to telephone agent every day and not resolved during stay. A partial refund was agreed but still not received it. Uncomfortable sofa. Very steep staircase with open steps. Need to warn visitors. Broken blind in kitchen. No blinds or curtains on 2 windows. Asked to put out bins but not told where they were. Wet room style bathroom but flooded out of bathroom if showered using big shower head. Not a spa bath as stated, just roll top. 4 slice toaster but only 2 slice worked.

Position in the village, steps from a nice pub and convenient for Cambridge

Stairs to bedrooms might be a challenge for some, but it's an old property. No on site parking

The cottage and location were great overall. The beds were comfy and heating, water etc worked great.

Kitchen and bathroom could have both done with a more thorough clean. The kitchen especially as there was a dirty sponge left behind, no dishwasher tablets or cloths for cleaning etc. Bathroom floor was brown when wiped down after showering.

The beds were so comfy! We loved the charm of the cottage and how spotless it was. The kitchen was perfectly equipped - fabulous for a family holiday!! The location was great with easy access to Cambridge, Ely and a couple of lovely local pubs.

The stairs - fine for us but maybe not for people with mobility issues or younger children.

Lovely cottage in a stunning location. Very helpful hosts. It was clean, charming and had everything we needed for a short weekend stay.

The stairs were very steep, almost like a ladder at the top. It would be better if more safety modifications could be made.

Location is good, the fireplace works, nice house.

The stairs are unusual but the real problem is the top step, it's smaller than the others and not flat with with the first floor. The first step on the way down it's quite a tricky movement as the banister only starts at the first step. Not suitable for young kids or old people.
