Cosy Courtyard Cottage sleeps 4 with Log Burner, close to Cambridge

It was well located for Cambridge. It was clean and comfortable.

Stairs were steep. The shower didn’t work - it had one temperature of very hot as button didn’t work. We couldn’t use it. Roadside parking was not possible as road busy and so would be dangerous to park there.

Spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchen. Great bath.

It’s a lovely place - stairs probably not suitable for children.

Bed was very comfy. Nice, quaint cottage. Lovely village location.

The cottage was clean but it was very cold when we arrived and wasn’t comfortable until late evening. The supplied cutlery was pathetic.

Charming little cottage, plenty of space. It took a while to warm up inside initially, but the weather was particularly cold! Once warm it was really cosy, with the added benefit of a wood burner in the living room. The shower hot/cold setting does take a little bit of practice to regulate, but there is excellent pressure and temperature when you’ve got the hang of it. Comfortable double bed in the main bedroom (didn’t use the single). Nice kitchen, everything worked, tea, coffee and milk provided. Easy lock box check-in, good communication beforehand. Great location in the village with ample roadside parking directly opposite the cottage. Early morning traffic noise was minimal as the double glazing is very good. Recommended, good value for money.

I booked this for my son who is on leave from the army. I booked it for him and his girlfriend to have a couple of days away together before he has to go back to his strict military life. This lovely little cottage provided them both with a cosy little home for 2 days, giving them a nice space to relax and have quality time together. Communication with the host was easy, and Tony was very helpful. Thank you.
