Quiet location. Warm , cosy and pristine. Well equipped. Bed comfortable. Thoughtful extras. Though small it felt spacious. Excellent communication with owner. Definitely recommend

Very strange man please don’t stop hear

Everything about this stay was fantastic. The accommodation is clean, fresh, well maintained. Don't let it being attached to the house put you off, we were not disturbed at all. The hosts are fantastic the little touches of food for breakfast, tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate and prosecco was lovely and thoughtful. We arrived a little early which was no trouble whatsoever.

There wasn't anything you could not like about staying here.

We had a beautiful stay at The Side - Mike and Lorna are lovely hosts, full of great tips and ideas of what to do/where to eat locally. The accommodation was spotless, very comfy and well equipped - just what we needed!

The host, Mike was very friendly polite and attentive and very welcoming additionally lovely to speak to if had any concerns The side itself it was just completely spotless The kitchen I loved the quirky little touch with the letter magnets on saying ‘welcome James’ on the fridge I found it very touching and thoughtful The bed was very cosy and loved the recliner chairs Surprising lovely package in fridge, jams, breads and eggs etc and bubbly. Mugs were actually really cute and loved the designs The garden had a lovely style to it and the views outside where you could see the hills. Walking distance wasn’t far from the Hexham centre approx 15mins if good mobility Own parking which was a brill advantage I would of loved to live in a flat like this to myself, 100% loved it I will be back again :)

Not a bad thing to report, I didn’t realise it was in a house living with someone but just added a extension onto it and just assumed it was an actual flat block with your own apartment Quite quirky going into a house entrance living next door to someone but however you do have your own privacy with everything doubly locked which of course was a bonus (This didn’t put my stay off overall but other people may not have that sense of humour if they wanted to be alone) Again this didn’t put off my stay as I liked the quirky style of it as I loved everything about it :) As aware not pet friendly but I would of loved to have brought my friendly mature pooch in near future & would be happy to pay extra charge for my pet for it maybe in near future if circumstances change 100% to my fantastic stay, no complaints on my end I will definitely be back again and added on my favourite list to book somewhere to stay again in Northumberland Take care Mike and Lorna :)
