Accommodation and location was ideal near to bus station and train station also on site parking

It was comfortable clean and the hosts were friendly and very helpful giving information about the area they also supplied a welcome pack which wa appreciated

The only thing that we found challenging was the climb up the road to the house but Mike did tell us an alternative route which was a little less hilly

Nice self contained annex to main house, Mark and Lorna great hosts, very clean and everything you need for a self catered break. Nice touches like milk, bread, eggs, tea and coffee along with Prosecco and juice when you arrive.

On a very steep hill, but had taxi back from town so didn’t cause us any problems.

Lovely, cosy apartment. Everything we needed for a weekend stay. Host was very welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay. It's about a 15 minute walk from the centre which was absolutely fine for us but as it's on a hill may not be suitable for everyone.

Mike was right to warn about the steep hill although it's very short and the bonus is the view from the charming garden and back door. Across the town to the hills to the north and northwest. Gives good warning of the incoming weather too. Mike was super responsive to very need and even has a note pad to write down requests. We needed kitchen scales to weigh ingredients and they appeared immediately we asked him. Plenty of must-read books for days-in and no need to race to finish as they can depart with you. It's obvious whether a landlord/host has thought through how the bathroom works - where to hang your clothes or put the sponge bag etc. Mike scores full marks for this as well as the kitchen design. Small but perfectly formed!

The weather - wind and rain with occasional sun. Don't you wish microwave oven makers would put the power output label on the front!

This downstairs area at The Side was very comfortable and warm. The facilities were excellent and we appreciated the breakfast items and also enjoyed the prosseco - a lovely touch.

Nothing - it was spotless and had everything we wanted or needed.
