Songbird Lodge - Near brew pub/10 mins from Snowdon

Karen met us at the carpark took us into lodge told us how things worked where things where it was warm on arrival the bed was toasty warm and very comfortable

Beautifully quirky in a idyllic setting. Surrounded by unspoilt nature and lots of birds singing. Karen is a fabulous host and made me feel very welcome. It has everything you need for relaxing holiday, I loved sitting on the veranda with a coffee in my hand.

There was not anything to not like.

Perfect location. Very cozy cabin with everything you need. Karen was lovely.

A very quiet area surrounded only by hills and woodland. Warm and cosy with the owner having the fire and electric blanket on when we arrived.

The freezer part of the fridge was not adequate, no door attached and surrounded by ice. Could do with more saucepans, and the oven door didn't close, but was told that it did work.

The cabin was very cosy - I especially liked the heated blankets in the comfy big bed. Beautiful surroundings with 3 lovely tame horses. The hostess was very friendly and helpful.

Location was excellent very close to everything we planned on doing. The views from cabin amazing! Very warm welcoming from the host herself .Art work was fantastic and fitted in with the whole setting. The location couldn't be more perfect and it is such a beautiful place to wake up to. Couldn't fault it for a second and would love to come back. Everything was lovely!

Host, Karen was so lovely and helpful, made us feel at home, lodge itself is beautiful, so comfortable, well equipped for all we needed. Bed was most comfortable iv ever slept in, the surroundings were beautiful, felt like you were in the middle of no-where, if you want some peace and relaxation this is the place to be. We have rebooked again, didn't want to leave.

Leaving was what I didn't like

Location is perfect, very quiet and close to lovely family friendly pub, and the food is very good. The lodge is perfect for those looking for a great alternative to a bed and breakfast, we loved it.

The fridge is small, and the open freezer compartment causes the fridged food to partially freeze, like strawberries etc. It would be better to have just a fridge or a different fridge freezer, but apart from that we had a lovely stay and the bed was very comfortable with beautiful fresh clean bedding and towels
