Songbird Lodge - Near brew pub/10 mins from Snowdon

The cottage is amazing and beautifully located. The surroundings are simply stunning - all greenery and nature with the view on Snowdon. Karen took care of everything, the place has all the comforts you need to explore Snowdonia National Park. The location is super convenient - it seems like the middle of nowhere, but in truth you're 15-min drive from Caernarfon and 10 mins drive from the beginning of path(s) to Snowdon; you can also take a bus as the bus stop is only 5 mins walking distance from the cottage. The pub is also 5 mins walk and it serves great food and has a microbrewery with local beer on tap.

This was a perfect break, Karen is a lovely woman and attentive host. Her dogs were just as friendly! The location couldn't be more perfect and it is such a beautiful place to wake up to. Couldn't fault it for a second and would love to come back.

Perfect location for Snowdonia mountains. Songbird lodge is in a peaceful location with nice views and very quiet apart from the sounds of the birds. Lovely to wake up to dawn chorus. Lodge comfortable and clean. Karen the owner very friendly and helpful but not intrusive.

Location was great to great around. Nice venue to eat within walking distance and reasonable prices. Would recommend to anyone .Nice and peaceful surroundings just the birds to hear

Nothing to dislike. All aspects of the stay at songbird Lodge was outstanding

I loved the lodge! It's in a wonderful location. The view from the lodge is beautiful. It's super cosy and so nicely decorated. The birds singing in the morning was a massive highlight! The lodge has all you need and you can cook for yourself if you want to. The host is super welcoming too. It's somewhere I would definitely return to.

Nothing

The lodge is in such a stunning and peaceful location - we had a lovely few relaxing days there. It is located well for a lot of the hikes we were looking at doing, only a short drive away. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the little veranda which gets the morning sunshine looking out over the hills and listening to the birds. The lodge was comfortable and warm at night, and had everything we needed for a short stay. The bed was super comfy. We cooked one night and found the kitchen to be well equipped enough! We appreciated that the host had left us things like teabags and oil.

Really not much to dislike! My only minor suggestion for improvement would be that a few of the kitchen utensils were a bit broken and could be refreshed.
