I rarely provide reviews but I would have appreciated reading what follows before booking my stay at the Taj Devi Ratn. Firstly, it’s very far out of the city, and the roads to and from are very poor. I didn’t foresee this being an issue, however Ubers are extremely unreliable, Jaipur doesn’t have taxis, the hotel will charge you very high prices for a driver, and rickshaw drivers rarely want to travel outside of the city. This means you will need to book a full time driver whilst staying here and allocate a decent amount of time for travel. While this isn’t the fault of the hotel, travellers should be aware of the complexities that come with the location. If you’re just looking to relax on the hotel grounds… this also isn’t a great option. The Taj Devi Ratn seems to be a popular getaway for families, and so the few day beds available at the pool will likely be occupied by families with young kids. Also, I will add that the pool is particularly small for the size of the hotel. As for the rooms, they haven’t been maintained well. The rug under the bed appeared dirty and frayed. And the shower was already rusting. Sound also really travels through the hallways. I was woken up several times by loud guests outside. I was also woken up by what can only be described as a tapping sound within the walls. I think it has something to do with the aircon. As for more general services, the hotel sprays a certain scent in public areas like the lobby. I know this probably sounds unfair… but that scent is incredibly unpleasant and strong. In fact it was the first thing my partner and I noticed when we entered the hotel. As for the food, it was ok but nothing excellent. There was a good variety of traditional Indian dishes. All in all, I would not stay at the Taj Devi Ratn again and I would definitely not classify it as a 5 star hotel.

Property was beautiful breath taking I would say. Best experience to have a family getaway on weekends …the service is exceptionally good and amazing … the breakfast was very scrumptious and mouth watering. We booked both dinner as well as breakfast. Dinner was also mind blowing as it had all the best dishes one wants to have in Jaipur as its authentic taste will enlighten ur mood and my daughter had Italian food (pasta) which was made on personal request… it was also excellent. Will definitely visit again with my family soon. Thnk u

One of the staff person entered the room for cleaning when my mother was asleep but he left immediately . But this was the only point i thought was a kind of violation of privacy which I informed immediately and they took the required steps . Other wise everything was good .

При бронировании я выбрала определенный номер исходя из вида в окне, но нас почему-то поселили в номере с видом на забор, Что очень разочаровало. Одно дело просыпаться да и в целом смотреть в окно и видеть сад и красивое здание, либо же смотреть на забор! Еда на ужине была абсолютно вся острая, в итоге пришлось просить повара готовить отдельно. Да приготовили, и повар лично приходил для обсуждения данной ситуации, за что конечно благодарны, но если бы изначально этот нюанс был отработан в отеле, не нужно было ставить повара в неловкое положение

Very luxurious, spacious , rooms and facilities were exceptional. Service and staff were extremely hospitable , friendly and very courteous. Excellent value for money.
