Everything was perfect. Just could benefit from some drawers in the bedroom. Otherwise stunning and very comfortable with breathtaking views x

No drawers in bedroom for clothes

Had an amazing staycation at this spacious and well-equipped place in Whitby! The breathtaking view from the bedroom and its proximity to main attractions made it the perfect choice. Highly recommend for a delightful stay in Whitby!

Fantastic experience overall! Just a heads up for those on the 4th floor – no lift, so be ready for a bit of a workout with your luggage. Other than that, everything was amazing!

Amazing Location. Beautiful property.

The cleanliness unfortunately let the place down. It hadn’t been hoovered properly (crumbs everywhere) some stains on the bed sheets. And the pots in the cupboard hadn’t been washed before being put away which meant when I took the plates out for example I got grease / oil whatever it was all over me. Would have expected better. That being said, when I complained to Host and Stay, they sent someone out straight away to change the sheets, they asked if I’d like a full clean but as we only had one night left and I had already re-washed all the pots I didn’t see the point in a full re-clean. Also some of the cups, bowls and things are chipped, there’s a loose plug socket. I think it just needs a refresh. Final niggle, be wary about parking. I emailed ahead to ask about parking vouchers as I’d seen these on a previous trip advisor review and was told no they don’t do these anymore. So on arrival off I went and paid £9 to park, to then find vouchers left for us which could have been used instead.

Stairs to property 4 flights of winding stairs being told to move apartments with 2 hrs notice.😡 Both penthouse apartment 3/4 have loose toilet seats nowhere to hang clothes or put your smalls in apartment 4 could do with blackout blinds in apartment 3/4 as it affects your ability to watch the TV. Although apartment 4 needs a ariel as u cannot watch the TV due to lack of signal, Apartment 3 has a damp issue round the window all small details but they add up also if your elderly the shower over the bath in apartment 4 would be a struggle as there is no hand rail .

Really lovely apartment, spacious, comfortable, stylish, warm, would definitely come back

Only thing I can say is the TV signal wasn’t great sometimes but not really an issue

The views

When we arrived there was an alarm sounding in the communal hallway, directly in front of our apartment, after contacting the customer service team on six different occasions over six hours someone eventually came to fix the fault, though this was past midnight. The stairway and alleyway access is filthy, there was so much bird muck! The entire apartment was dusty and there was litter in the kitchen cupboards, all utensils and crockery needed to be cleaned before use and there was dirty trays in the oven with food still on them. The bathroom smells like cat wee and there was lots of hair in the unit under the sink. Absolutely no clothes storage other than a coat hook. I was receiving multiple daily emails from “the customer service team” but whenever I tried to contact them I was passed from pillar to post with no positive outcome.

Gorgeous property and location! Views are amazing and the windows looking out are just perfect. Property was spotless.

Steps up to the property are a lot but perfectly manageable and we knew about it so it was fine but maybe an issue for people with limited mobility. No hand soap in the bathroom and no clothes/sponges to wash up/wipe down the sides but only really minor things and otherwise it was perfect!

Great location. Nice and clean. Good faculties. Enjoyable stay.
