"Clean property , good quiet location, nothing spectacular."

Location was good for city centre which is about a 10 min walk

The shower cubicle in the bathroom is very small and difficult to manoeuvre in for adult males, additionally it is located on the top floor of the townhouse so no good to anyone with mobility issues. Also overflows if in any time more than a few minutes.

Everything was excellent. Lovely place to stay. Easy walking distance to centre or the hop on bus. Wouldn't hesitate about staying again.

"A perfect getaway with more than a taste of luxury"

The location was just perfect on a beautiful warm day to stroll into York, experience the tastes of culture with friends. We were able to walk and in the evening a short taxi ride after the theatre. The apartment is based on the Lock and we had a cup of tea on the chairs provided by the Lock watching the sun set, we enjoyed the free KIT KAT that the host had left for us - it was a a taste of luxury

The stairs ... for one of us , this was an issue which to be fair was NOT the host fault but ours !

It was a nice quiet location everything in walking distance.

Nothing every thing was fine. The only thing that springs to mind would be a basket to hold your shower gel and shampoo should be very useful.

"Spot on."

A lovely location overlooking the locks and less than a five minute walk to the city centre. Very clean throughout a real home from home. The Host (Sam) went above to assist with parking.

Could not fault our stay.

The location was perfect, a short walk to the centre and in a lovely quiet area. The house was furnished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bed linen was excellent quality. Communication with the host was excellent. Great parking and our big car fitted with ease. I would highly recommend this house for a comfortable stay in York.
