5 Lockside Free Secure Parking

We loved staying here, with children it was ideal. It had everything we needed. It was also walking distance to the town. It was like a home from home, after a long day exploring York town it was nice to have a place to come back and relax and settle down for the evening.

The apartment was very modern, spacious and very clean. Kitchen had every appliance you would need. Plenty of room in the huge lounge room with a lovely fireplace. Would definitely book to stay again!

The property was excellent, ideally located to access the city and parking was a fantastic bonus!

Nothing negative to say , perhaps the towels could have been a little softer but this is only a minor issue.

House is located in a very central location - approx 10 minute walk to City Centre. The off street parking for one car is a great bonus for those that need it. Good room sizes, nice and comfortable beds and kitchen well stocked with most of the utensils, pots and pans that you may need. Good communication with Sam in advance of stay - quick responses and clear instructions/ advice provided.

Very minor niggle for those staying for a longer period. It was great to have the washing machine + being supplied a few tabs; but there needs to be more drying facilities available. The washing line is old; drooped toward the floor when hanging clothes - even children's clothing. There is a clothes horse but more pegs are required. Rooms were a bit dustier than expected (in the corners/ crevices etc) and probably in need of a deep clean but otherwise a really good property in a great location.

Amazing location, close to the city centre, but quiet enough to not know.
