Studio 1 Motel - Daytona Beach

The size of the room

A lot of things, Unfortunately this place is not well maintained, there is a lot of cockroaches, it is dirty, the BBQ is not usable anymore, Also there is no one at the front desk even in the day

It was clean and everything worked well

Some small roaches but partly because I left food out

Had to call to get them to change the sheets as there was blood on them, only got 2 sets of towels even though they knew there was 4 of us staying there. Tried all day Saturday to get in touch with them only to get a call back Saturday night saying no one was at the property that day and they could bring towels in the morning (which is when we we're checking out) which no one did. Roach in the bathroom.

The location wasn't that bad, but beach access was not directly across the street. Probably not something the property can control, but still an inconvenience.

Could have been more responsive through the booking portal. I didn't get any replies to any of my messages, including when I showed up to an empty office for check in

I didn’t stay drove 8 hours to have a room infested with roach bugs (not palmetto bugs) and had to find another motel because couldn’t get any answer on phone from studio 1.

Miss Jill is very nice and the property is very clean and it’s a comfortable place to stay and I enjoy staying here

The view is nice. It’s on the beach. You can see everything.

-That is could see the beach and ocean everytime i woke up! -Very nice beach access point thats walkable from the room. -One of the guys living there gave us good advice on where to check out near us. -A/C was cold! -Lots of space in studio!

-That we had lizards in the bathroom we had to evacuate! -There was sand all over the beds when we got there :( -Honestly very sketchy area at night, lots of interesting scary people. -The kitchen and bathroom light was a pain to get on, switch was busted!

Location and price

Very dirty, roaches , no one at front desk only when u check in then you never see them for toilet paper or towels had to go buy my own towels and toilet paper. Then when they finally got around to bringing me towels a day later they had black stains on them

Only the fact that was across from the beach only!
