Breakfast not provided but self catering facilities in the kitchen were good. Microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine were available. 50 metres from the apartment is a restaurant, which we weren't able to visit. There are some useful shops nearby in the high street, 200 metres away. There's a baker's shop that did sandwiches to order and sold a wonderful selection of bread and cakes and a few deli items. On the opposite side of the road is a community centre, which has a great café serving cooked breakfast or a half breakfast for under £6, it was presented beautifully and was perfect, a nice cosy find! The staff there were very friendly and welcoming.

The shower in the bath had a low pressure flow. A non-slip mat in the bath would be a welcome safety addition. The hot tap in the bathroom sink provided a weak, dismal dribble, it took 4-5 minutes to fill the sink! We had to run the hot tap in the bath to speed things up just to get the hot water to the sink, not good. It would have been useful to have a folder for guests, explaining how things worked: TV, electric heaters, etc. Also what was available in the area, such as café, restaurants, supermarket, places of interest etc.
