The White Cottage 3 stocks Green

Location lovely. Cute cottage inside. Heating came on automatically, much appreciated. Nice kitchen & bathroom, well equipped. WiFi good. Beds ok. Nice quiet location. Safe to park car on side of road. Lots of local walks available.

Tv's didn't work (wires weren't connected/no WiFi signal. I couldn't work it out & didn't want to mess with it). Most lights either flickered or didn't come on (upstairs & down), I felt the wiring in the house was a concern. I didn't want to but I had to use two, in the living room, but they were very dim so I gave up trying to read and went to bed early. Porch double doors wouldn't lock, though front door did. Gardens overgrown & neglected (such a shame as would have been lovely to sit out in the morning or evening). Outside chairs nice touch but very dirty /old so if can't be cleaned, perhaps cushions could help. Would have liked a mirror in the main bedroom / small table to put make-up on (in a place where the most light gets to it). Just suggestions, not criticisms. I would be more likely to return in future if these things were sorted.

Good location. Spacious cottage.

Kitchen cooking trays and grill very dirty. Needs cleaning and updating. Cottage needs attention inside and out.

Lots of space .

The cottage was not particularly clean . Especially the cooker and cooking trays. And Pyrex dish was disgusting. The microwave had food on the inside of the roof there was a tomato ketchup bottle. Open with a date of the 5th 2023 on it. The owners clothes in the wardrobe . Kids toys in the bedroom .just not up too whats expected of a holiday cottage. .
