Die kostenlosen Verleih - kajdks waren bis auf eins alle defekt , gefährlich! ⚠️ Risse im Boot.. auch die Fahrräder ( nur 2) waren alt und verrostet - nicht zu gebrauchen. Der Grill welcher zum Boot gehört war verdreckt und eklig. Haben daher nicht gegrillt .

The cabins inside

We stayed here for three days. The check in was weird. First you had to go to a different location and then go to your cabin. We got a cabin on the ground, as per the pictures on the website, it was supposed to be all cabins facing this beautiful ocean, nice launching chairs ect. But that’s not what we got. The cabin inside I give it a 10 but the outdoors were horrible. Our view was facing a canal where old boats were parked. No view beyond that. People apparently also live in those boats as motorcycles come and go at all times. Then when I went to the seating area by the ocean, you couldn’t seat there cause of the rotten stench in the air. Also, to top it off there is this big house in the middle towards the end that is in construction. So that is also taking too much space in the property.It felt like they were milking the cow in this property to get as much as they can. But sometimes too much is bad.. Then, there is no pool in the property so we had to go to a different location that by the way felt like a public pool. Too many people, no where to seat, the ocean side the same. Too much people on top of each other. We went once and never went back. Overall, I which it was a better experience for my family and myself. After all people are paying for something that is not real.

Its location to the water and area to view the sunsets.

We ordered a bungalow and got a houseboat. The description on the booking.com website is deceptive. The layout of the space was really cramped. The sofa was kid size and hard as a board. The smell from the debris in the water surrounding the unit was offensive making enjoyment of the porch impossible. The walls of the unit were paper thin and every noise from the adjacent (detached) unit could be heard making sleep impossible. Very disappointing experience.

-The units were clean, the beds were comfy & the bedding was comfortable. -The unit on land was very cute, looks pretty new and well set up to make the most of the small space. -The location in the Keys was great! Easy to drive up and down and visit everything. The location within Marathon was not walkable to things so just be aware of that. -Unfortunately the weather was such that we could not use the kayaks or firepit so I can’t speak to that but they looked like fun. -We did love seeing the kitties all over the property & gave them lots of love. Not sure everyone would appreciate freerange cats but we enjoyed their presence.

-We booked 2 units and were not made clearly aware that one unit was a house boat. The wind was 20+ mph our entire stay and we would have preferred solid ground (like we thought we booked) for sure. -Neither one of the units’ bathroom doors closed. We kept having to prop towels against the door to keep it from swinging open. A small but real inconvenience. -The units were oddly supplied. One unit had no tongs, no kitchen towels; the other unit had 2 tongs but no tupperware. One unit had 3 beach towels, the other none. Nothing ‘bad’ enough to complain about, but all the little things added up to a not so great experience. -The houseboat’s tiny microwave was filthy; cleaners must have missed it. -No dedicated parking spots meant I parked on a resident’s spot and had to move my car. They should consider parking signs. -The main problem was the smell. The houseboat smelled horrendously like cat pee where you enter. The back smelled better but I had allergy struggles the entire time. And no, its not the toilet. We have an RV and I understand the tank/drain system. This was cat pee located by the main entrance. It was masked somewhat by the fresh cleaning but came back stronger as time went on. -The access to Cabana Club was meant to be a perk but they treated us so horribly over there that I consider it a discredit to Aqua Lodges. Very rude hostess just about yelled at my elderly mother in law “to make sure she was listening to the rules”.

It’s unique experience to sleep on boat house. It had everything we needed to make the stay memorable. The lady check my family was nice and personable. I would recommend this stay in Florida keys.

There nothing negative to say about the property.
