Staff were nice

Room very out dated and broken draw with no knob dirty carpets no safe

Comfortable for an overnight stop off. Breakfast was good.

Unfortunately, when checking out we found that our room had been charged for an extra 2 meals and 2 drinks which we had not had. The lesson is to always check your receipt before leaving. The staff were very apologetic and assured me that I would be refunded for this. I asked them confirm this in an email to me before I left as they couldn’t issue it at that point as it has to go through the finance department. I did receive the email. I now await the refund.

The setting and scenery

Unfortunately the food let it down. Portion size was small, partner had katsu curry bit tasteless, I had fish and chips bit oily. Breakfast the next day, issues with gas so limited menu which we wasn’t shown, could do more for the breakfast bar, bins for the cereal boxes, being more attentive for the coffee jugs, tidying up

The room size and Spa facilities

The breakfast, gas was out of order in the kitchen and coffee wasn't ready i had to wait for coffee to be replaced, if there is one thing that should be kept topped up its the coffee pot for breakfast.

There are no facilities for children under 12. Extra charges for making up a sofa in an advertised 'sleeps 4 room'.
