Location is good

Nowhere to hang your stuff, nowhere to chill out. It was bar stools or lye on the bed.

All of the staff were charming and couldnt have been more helpful

The window could not be fully closed so the noise from the street during the night was really loud

The staff were extremely helpful, location was excellent and I would go again..

A bit noisy outside with people walking home. But that's it..

Arrived on Saturday 8th at 2.30pm to be shown to our room with it not even being cleaned. Had the night before bedding on / empty cans of beers etc, I told the staff member who had shown us to the room that we have a meal booked for 4pm and we need to get showered and ready, her reply was... we will get the room cleaned, it will only take 10mins but if you want a quick shower now before it gets cleaned, we had paid £160 for one night stay to find our room uncleaned, the lady was very rude to us and shouting as I said a quick clean isnt good enough for what we paid. She then started blaming me for not giving her a check in time, I hold my hands up, I missed this email but by 2.30 in the afternoon on a Saturday, I would expect a room to be clean, she refused to refund us back when I said I wanted to leave. Rooms had no towels in, had to ask for them, no shower gel was filled up In the dispenser. I would not recommend staying here, its dirty and they need to learn how to talk to people who have spent a lot of money. Travel Lodge is better value for money. Be aware a big deposits taken from card of £250 and not refunded back straight away.

We booked this apartment through Booking.com expecting a standard stay, but our experience wasn’t quite what we anticipated. When we arrived, it took around 20 minutes for someone to come and check us in, which was a bit inconvenient after travelling. However, I understand that things don’t always go as planned. We were then told there was a £400 security deposit for our one night stay (later reduced to £250 after the staff member checked with his manager). This wasn’t very clearly stated on the listing, and we were also informed that if paid in cash, it would be returned by bank transfer within 2-3 days, which felt a little unusual, as these things are normally done using a deposit hold system. They did message me to state this beforehand, but again I expected this to be done using a hold system, rather than making a full payment to begin with. Once we were there, we realised that these apartments are mainly used for parties, something we weren’t aware of beforehand, which I think should also be mentioned on the listing. There was very loud music coming from nearby rooms, and it was clear that a quiet night’s sleep wouldn’t have been possible. We decided not to stay in the end, but I wanted to share this so others know what to expect. I’m not trying to slate the staff members or the apartments, but simply inform others who may be interested in booking. If you’re looking for a lively, party-style stay with friends, this place might suit you! If you’re after somewhere a bit quieter, straightforward and just a place to sleep for the night, it may not be the right fit.
