Great location, easy to find. Good for those looking to host parties or pre drinks

We booked this apartment through Booking.com expecting a standard stay, but our experience wasn’t quite what we anticipated. When we arrived, it took around 20 minutes for someone to come and check us in, which was a bit inconvenient after travelling. However, I understand that things don’t always go as planned. We were then told there was a £400 security deposit for our one night stay (later reduced to £250 after the staff member checked with his manager). This wasn’t very clearly stated on the listing, and we were also informed that if paid in cash, it would be returned by bank transfer within 2-3 days, which felt a little unusual, as these things are normally done using a deposit hold system. They did message me to state this beforehand, but again I expected this to be done using a hold system, rather than making a full payment to begin with. Once we were there, we realised that these apartments are mainly used for parties, something we weren’t aware of beforehand, which I think should also be mentioned on the listing. There was very loud music coming from nearby rooms, and it was clear that a quiet night’s sleep wouldn’t have been possible. We decided not to stay in the end, but I wanted to share this so others know what to expect. I’m not trying to slate the staff members or the apartments, but simply inform others who may be interested in booking. If you’re looking for a lively, party-style stay with friends, this place might suit you! If you’re after somewhere a bit quieter, straightforward and just a place to sleep for the night, it may not be the right fit.

Non-staffed reception, complex check in process. Also the key card didn't work and as it was non-staffed we couldn't get into our apartment which resulted us having to stay in corridor. We weren't able to get hold of anyone during the stay to fix the issue. Wouldn't recommend.

Beautiful property Fantastic location

Everything was perfect

I was asked what time I would check in. I said I would be there at 3pm. Room wasnt ready till 3.40pm. I waited around , bought an orange juice.

I couldn' t get into my room with the key card on my first night when I returned from the conference. I range, left a voicemail, texted and emailed booking. Com. There are no onsite staff,no emergency number, I called the number I had from the check in details. I waited 20 mins no response, fortunately my friend said I could stay with him. No hotel rooms available anywhere else in Liverpool. I paid £15 in a black cab to go to next destiniation. Received text 30 mins later saying I had to push and pull the door. I am a solo female traveller.

The property was excellent very clean and beds super comfortable. The sound system was amazing great touch. They take a deposit and got this back very fast
