Luxury 3 al duomo di parma

The bathtub was wonderful. I had gotten a cold and was feeling pretty lousy, the staff did all they could to accommodate me. Location was fine for what I wanted to see. I really appreciate the staff, the self check in and self luggage storage was clear and easy. They provided instructions that included videos. Did I mention the bathtub? ☺️

The toilet ran and it was difficult to get it to stop , but it was manageable. The bathroom counters have seen better days, but honestly that isn’t such a big deal. The bed is as a bit hard, but it was just for a night so I hesitate to mention it. A hot water pot and tea cups would be nice.

Well located, very clean studio apartment. Spectacular bath! Small / bar fridge also welcome surprise (not listed in amenities). Very helpful and friendly owner. Clear communication with video and written instructions on how to access was provided. Also opportunity to leave my luggage before check in was appreciated.

No elevator so carrying suitcases up a very narrow staircase wasn't easy. One thing I've learned about booking hotels in Europe is to always ensure there is an Elevator. We learned that the hard way. It's not usually one of the main criteria, but it will be from now on.

renovations / dusty /bad smell in bathrooms

In our opinion, the only positives are the bathtub and the access to Netflix

The room is far from luxurious. Uncomfortable bed, and comfortable plastic pillows. When we opened the bed, the sheets where used and had marks on them, as if the duvet had just been pulled over to make the bed for the new guests. Old sofa with many signs of use. The chairs were dirty and full of stains. The bathroom showed signs of use and was dirty. It wasn't a positive experience and we didn't feel comfortable during our stay.
