Joe (landlord) is lovely, good communication aswell. Nice and cosy house.

We have provided feedback to the landlord through the Booking.com communication system. The first time was to advise that the TV was not tuned in. The response we got was that there was only a couple of online channels available, the fact that the TV had not been set up was not commented on. When we had attempted to use the TV the batteries were out of the controller and there was no back. Clearly previous tenants had had the same issues. On departure, when reminded of the need to leave so the "cleaning team" could gain access, we itemised all the poor hygiene issues identified and provided photos, no response. We received an automated response to provide online feedback for the property as they rely heavily on this (?!). Today, having stated our surprise that they wish our feedback to be published the landlord has responded immediately to allow them to sort the issues. Beds were okay but this appears to be the only housekeeping that had been carried out prior to our arrival, the house had the appearance of previous occupier having left hastily with no attempt made to dust, sweep or straighten the property. Having specifically chosen the property as it had 3 separate bed rooms, we were unable to use the third as cladding falling off the wall could have caused an accident. The property would not be recommended for individuals who have mobility issues as the stairs, particularly those to the 3rd bedroom are very steep. In general, the property is run down with little attention to detail. The cutlery was sparse and the crockery etc was mismatched, limited and all needed washed prior to use. The bin, had not been cleaned or sanitised in some time as previous guests rubbish still adhered to the lid and bin, no liner provided. We had to provide our own anti-bacterial cleaning wipes and bin liner.

A great place to stay, very comfortable and a good central location. Very reasonable price and very comfortable beds.

Could have done with a few more mugs.

Nice neighborhood location. Pub and groceries within a couple of blocks walk. House was comfortable and clean. The location made for easy access to city centre and other sites.

We loved this place so much.The location was good, the whole place was so spacious. It had everything we needed—from a kitchen to laundry facilities. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the TV came with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. The water was consistently hot, and the rooms were warm, comfortable, and inviting. The kids got their own rooms, there was even a really nice attic room upstairs! The area was also very calm and peaceful, there were grocery stores and take-aways nearby. Free street parking in front of the house. Would definitely stay here again!

Local pub had a great atmosphere and everyone was really friendly. Host had listened to feedback and lots of facilities to use such as shower gel, toothpaste, tea towels although some were used and dirty.

Unfortunately the accommodation was very tatty and dirty. Holes in the walls, dirty skirting boards, broken chairs, poorly equipped kitchen, dirty dishcloths, filthy oven, I could go on.... The toilet seat was broken so we had two days of not being able to use the toilet properly until it was fixed. Basically we stayed away from the accommodation as much as possible and really did not like returning to it.

Easy to get to and fro from city. Beds and bedsheets were comfortable The hot water tap in bathroom did not work, bathroom lock difficult to use. There was a bad odour in property, felt not clean and aired, the rubbish bin had mould and clearly not cleaned, generally felt a bit of TLC needed.
