Belfast City - 3 Bedroom Cosy Home - Walking Distance to City

The location was not what I would have termed within walking distance to the city hall. The property is in a very Loyalist area and given the time of year was somewhat rowdy from late evening until after 1am. It was not unusual to find empty beer bottle outside the front door. To be frank, I would strongly urge people of a non-Unionist persuasion not to consider staying in this property. Indeed I would not recommend walking in this area late at night to anyone. If you do go ahead and book this property please be aware that after you have booked and paid Booking.com the process does not end there. You are then asked to either pay a returnable deposit of £500 or buy a £35 insurance policy. Whichever you decide to do you must first "register" with a third party company to have your identity checked. To do this you must provide them with a photo of your passport or driving licence then you must provide them with a selfie followed by your credit card details. Had I not already paid the fee to Booking .com I would have pulled out of the whole deal. However having done all this and received a receipt from the company the host refused to release the door code to me because he said the company said they had not received the payment. Eventually we got the code. When we went into the house we found the following: Only 1 key in the box instead of 2. This became important later when the back door and windows were found open. I became concerned the next day when a window the we had closed was again found open. I'm of the opinion that someone else may have or had access to this property. Also:- Burnt and rotten meat and fat left in oven. Cooking pot with burnt residue in the bottom Electric shower detached and out of service. Hand held over the bath shower. The bathroom sink hot water tap was jammed resulting in no hot water to the sink Bathroom door which jammed when you closed it. We had booked for 4 nights but we left after 2.

Great location for attending Belsonic events, close to Ormeau Park and walking distance to train station and popular spots like Victoria Square

Third bedroom is in the attic. Very small but still a comfortable bed.

Good facilities and location, nice rooms and property has everything we needed.
