La'al Lodge in Kendal (The Gateway to the Lakes)

I absolutely loved the attention to detail that went into planning and building this holiday home. There was nothing to fault, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Everything you could possibly need for two people was thoughtfully provided. I especially appreciated the personal touches, including the introduction to the family and their three friendly cats in the handy information book. As an environmental scientist, I was particularly impressed by the owner's commitment to sustainability, making every effort to ensure the property was as environmentally friendly as possible, both during construction and in its day-to-day operation. Located just a 30-minute drive from Windermere, it is a perfect base for exploring the Lake District, with plenty of beautiful hikes and scenic spots nearby.

The place is new,very clean and well organised.

What a wonderful gem of accommodation. Host are very helpful and friendly. Even the cats haha! Perfect location, easy to walk into town for restaurants etc. Not far from tourists destinations. Lovely welcome pack with suggestions of places, guides and just very well thought of. Fantastic, highly recommend!

We both love the property very quiet so comfortable loved the little things like plenty of coffee Tea sugar milk and chocolate in fridge so we didn't need to nip to the shop put the kettle on and sat on the decking it's covered it was raining but so nice to sit out. Internet was great TV Net Flix TV turned so in the morning watch and chill in bed. Lovely couldn't of picked a more lovely place to stay.

The lodge itself was cute love the star light window above the bed. The surrounding the area and very private. I would recommend for couples. I would come again if I was visiting the lake district.
