Spacious 2 bed apt next to Royal Mile & Waverley

Great location, very close to Royal Mile. Apartment was very clean and kitchen well equipped. Highly recommended.

Sort of close to the Royal Mile and sort of convenient to Waverly Station.

Where to begin? I wrote a long description, but it got lost when I went to post a photo. Suffice to say—felt dangerous reinforced by loud fighting across the hall and graffiti all over the property exterior per Google maps. The apartment is sparsely and poorly furnished. The mattresses are so low as to be almost in the floor. The shabby living room furniture was all oddly pushed against the walls. It is up several flights of winding stairs in a dank and gloomy entry. In the morning after a bit of a fearful night because of the fighting, yelling and banging across the hall, the police banged on our door looking for information. This whole stay caused fear and anxiety not to mention that it is overpriced compared to another property that we rented prior to our 5-day tour. The other one is titled similarly “spacious apartment on Royal Mile.” That one was about £100 less and a world apart in quality. It was gorgeous, had a door person, security features and a lift. I’d look for that one to rent rather than this one.

The location is great. Overall, the place is a good value in a very good location. Kitchen is newly renovated with large refrigerator.

The furniture/beds in the bedrooms and the couches/chairs in living room could use some updating and there is no A/C making it a little stale.

We were freezing and couldn’t have a hot shower. Also it is up 3 flights of stairs and has a dark dingy dirty entry.

Very spacious. Tastefully decorated. Large comfortable beds. Great location - easy walking distance to all the Edinburgh city sights.

Great proximity to Royal mile. Good communication with host

Entrance very off-putting although apartment lovely. Neighbours could be a little noisy. Would have been helpful to have coffee and sugar available. Television unable to be used for standard tv viewing and too complicated to adapt for streaming. Don't recommend stairs for large suitcases. Beds quite low

Great views of Arthur's seat from the kitchen and good sized rooms and living space

No fault of the property but bars emptying their glass recycling late at night on the street outside was not ideal.

Small issues relating to water which was addressed immediately with great communication.
