Carpet is quite dirty. Very smelly with smoke from previous clients.

The apartment was a decent size and nicely decorated and in a perfect location right in the city centre. It was clean and tidy and relatively well kitted out but because of the smell it never felt very clean. The Sainsbury's just below was very handy to nip out and get anything we needed.

There was a terrible damp, foosty smell which never left the apartment. It was worst in the ensuite bathroom next to the master bedroom which was so bad I could not use it and it made the master bedroom smell bad too and so we avoided it until we had to go to bed but I felt like I was breathing it in and it was oppressive. The entrance hall also smelt bad so you would be met with it as soon as you entered the apartment. There is no ventilation in the en suite and I think this must be at least one reason for the smell of damp. The other bathroom, which had a window was fine. The children's room was a lot better but still not great and the living room/kitchen area was fine when the windows were open and it was aired well. However I had to wash all our clothes on returning home because they all smelt bad and I have had a bad chest since staying there which I have struggled to shift. My daughter struggles with germophobia and she found staying there really triggered her because she never felt clean because of the smell. It made our holiday not very relaxing at all. I'm really surprised that this place has such high reviews scores because anyone staying with this smell would find it so unpleasant.

The location is perfect. For a family of 4 it was very convenient to have 2 bathrooms. It was warm and cosy. It was a nice tuch that the board games were provided so the child was occupied at evenings, and there were even books to relax at night. Will definitely recommend to friends .

The double bed was too hard for my liking.It will be nice to have a small frying pan and a lid for the big one.
