The guest house, was exellent, in a lovely location, just off the main road, the hosts, liz and Graham were the loviest people, that made you feel very welcome, the breakfast was amazing.

We both loved everything ❤️

The thing I liked most about the accommodation was how friendly and hospitable the host was. The place was very clean and tidy, and the breakfast was rich and delicious with a lot of variety. It really made me feel comfortable and welcome during my stay.

"So glad we opted for a traditional BnB rather than an Airbnb. Amazing stay."

We arrived late due to traffic and were greeted by the friendliest couple in the world, a pot of tea and plate of biscuits. They had brilliant suggestions of what do do while we were in the Lakes and took a real interest in our plans. The breakfast was 10/10 The room had amazing views and though it's compact has absolutely everything you could need. The communal area downstairs had a saying rack which was perfect for us as we were taking part in the Great North Swim We usually stay in Airbnbs but due to their dynamic pricing we looked for other options and I'm so glad we did. It made such a difference to have real people hosting us rather than just being greeted by a lockbox and some text messages. Amazing people and amazing stay.

"Wonderful Stay at Brook House, Windermere"

Both rooms were very clean, quiet comfortably, and reasonably priced. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious English breakfast, freshly cooked to our preferences—absolutely fabulous! The location is great—approx 20 minutes walk to Bowness Pier and only about 10 minutes from Windermere Railway Station, making it easy for us to explore the area. We felt very happy and warmly welcomed during our stay, and we would definitely return. I highly recommend Brook House to other travellers planning to visit the Lake District.
