Shower wasn't great pressure

Great place for some R&R over a long weekend. Not too busy, spa facilities were always available. Quaint little village with a number of friendly pubs. Our dog lobbed it too… The restaurant with wine pairing was excellent albeit very expensive…

The bottom figure for the selection of meals and wine pairing should include VAT.

Great location with a lovely village on the doorstep. Good service from Kerri, bed very comfortable, nice linens. It has potential but it’s a bit faulty towers.

No dinner options at the hotel, the hotel is very quiet like a ghost town. We only saw staff at breakfast and on check in. The breakfast menu is limited, the cooked breakfast wasn’t great, tinned mushrooms, sausages were like leather, probably precooked and then warmed up again. Not as good as it used to be. Ditch the fake roses, they are everywhere but they look tired and dusty, they make the place look tatty. I didn’t like that the owners have cameras everywhere and watch and listen to staff and guests. Spooked me a little as it’s an invasion of privacy as was the check in procedure by asking for your security code for your credit card even though I had already paid. Too many rules that make no sense, like the table set up in the breakfast room.

The outdoor spa is an exceptional addition. Beds really comfortable.

Cosy Hotel, staff at the reception are very friendly Rooms are generous with comfortable bed and decent decor. Spa facilities are suprb.
