The house is a lovely size. Beds are comfortable and the Aga is a lovely feature. My negatives points shouldn't put you off. I would definitely stay again

The dining table seated four not six. Found some folding chairs but couldn't set the table for five. Would have been nice to have more wood for the fire.(if I'm being picky.) Access to the house isn't easy if you struggle with mobility

The location was great. A beautiful cosy and very spacious cottage decorated very tastefully and so clean. there was only 3 of us but would be great for more people as there were two living spaces.

Celebrated Christmas with our family at Clare's Cottage. Nice festive touches throughout. A lovely welcome gift when we arrived. Cosy rooms with wood burners to keep out the winter chill. All the bedrooms and beds were super comfortable. For me the star of the show was the Aga. It was a dream to cook a Christmas meal in. Having never used one and being a little nervous of how to. It was easy to get the hang of and everything cooked to perfection. One very happy mum. It really was the heart of the cottage. The cottage is in stunning surroundings with plenty of amazing scenery. Totally recommend. Would love to return in warmer weather too.

Nothing bad to say really. The road outside can be a little busy, not a problem, just need to take care when walking.

Hi we would just like to say thank you for letting us use your house for the past 4 nights/5days, your place is beautiful and relaxing as just what we needed just before my son starts his 2nd battle with cancer on Thursday, if I could choose a place and time stood still to stay it would definitely be your property as we had loads of laughs and memories, once again many thanks x
