Sea Glass Cottage - Hotel style 3 bed optional hot tub

We loved the hot tub and the house, which was very clean and tidy. The other amenities provided was also excellent and made us feel at home. The door key was also simple to use.

A second bathroom upstairs would have been nice since the only one is downstairs. The bathroom also often flooded after using the shower.

The property was clean and comfortable. Good location and parking nearby.

The mattresses were not very comfortable, we could feel the springs on two of the beds in the front bedrooms so was a little uncomfortable.

Easily the best place I’ve stayed in Seaham and was starting to despair that there might not be any rental homes in the area that were good quality after trying many! House is beautifully finished and was extremely clean, welcoming and warm on arrival. Bedrooms were all comfortable and cosy with quality mattresses and bed linen. Lovely attention to detail throughout and very well equipped. We especially appreciate the little treats, even for our dog, by the little den area. We’d come back here again and again!

Really didn’t like the camera over the hot tub. Felt a bit intrusive.

Handy location

Boiler broke down on our second nights stay on one of the coldest nights this winter, so we had no heating & no hot water. To be fair when we reported it to the owners they did say we should have contacted them as soon as we discovered it & they would have moved us to another property. Though I very much doubt anyone would start ringing round at 3am to complain about a boiler. Plus's packing everything up to move to house & then have to be up & car packed to leave by 10am is not at all practical

Having to pay for a hot tub, and a camera being above. This seems like a invasion of privacy and made me not comfortable to pay for the service
