"Very enjoyable stay and definitely book up again."

9.0

Walking distance to town and my family. Clean, spacious and hot tub. Only one downfall, it could of done with a wardrobe for more hanging space and drawers.

"Comfortable and relaxed stay in the lovely Seaham."

9.0

The location was ideal. We loved the accommodation. It felt very homely straight away. The hot tub and garden area were a little haven. The decor is very minimalist but classy.

It felt like there were quite a lot of rules to try to remember but I understand that the owner just wants to ensure that holiday makers look after the property.

"Very good"

8.0

The accommodation is comfortable and care has been taken to make it look beautiful. There is a nice kitchen and sitting area. The kids appreciated the popcorn machine! The hot tub is also nice, but comes at an additional charge that is paid outside booking.com.

We asked for an early checkin and Chrissie told us she would come back to us. She never did. Also, the beds are not very comfortable. They would benefit from new mattresses. Seaham itself is a pretty grim place, which makes this accommodation rather pricey for its location.

"Lovely house but too many rules."

6.0

Lovely house with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed exploring the area and walked a lot.

Too many rules. Couldn’t relax. We like to feel trusted and at home when we book a holiday house but we didn’t feel welcome. We did not like the camera over the hot tub and couldn’t understand why it was there. We did not pay the extra to use the tub because we didn’t want to be looked at. Real shame as we would probably have enjoyed it.

"Overall had a fabulous holiday as location is spot on."

8.0

Modern decor and location.

It didn’t have an information file giving instructions on how to use kitchen appliances. Although I was aware of the camera over the hot tub it made my granddaughter and daughter-in-law very uncomfortable. Downstairs toilet needs to be made more prominent in info, I didn’t realise until I read reviews.

"Fun house in Seaham"

8.0

Very pleasant house, close to the beach and shops. Parking available on the street outside the house. Nice touches to provide games and hospitality tray. Simple, pleasant furnishings and decor of the IKEA vibe. Great fun to have a hot tub. Beds comfortable and good hot shower.

Camera observing the hot tub was, frankly, weird! House fittings and equipment felt cheap and were consequently a bit wobbly and insubstantial. I was worried about breaking things that seemed rather fragile (we didn’t).
