Sea Glass Cottage - Hotel style 3 bed optional hot tub

Loved the clean smell as entered, looked brand new.very smart, modern looking house with easy parking along kerbside, oh and a lovely hottub! Side seaview from 2 main bedrooms (photo from large front bedroom). Towels, toilet rolls and toiletries provided too which really helped us as had been in a hotel for a wedding first and this was an impromptu Birthday stay, so hadn't brought anything for self catering - even had washing up stuff and tablets for dishwasher, which was perfect for us, thank you. Loved the tv room with Wii, popcorn maker, tea and coffee supplies and dog treats, although didnt use. Digital door entry, not seen before, worked well and felt very secure in the terrace. Great communication from owners before arrival with acess code provided. Wonderful house, really enjoyed our stay for my birthday treat. Took about 20-30mins to walk to glassy beach, Asda 5mins walk away, chip shops, Aldi and cafes/bars 10mins walk. Hope to come again one day.

Bit noisy first thing in morning as children headed to school, wasnt for long though and machinery at harbour noticeable, but were out most of day so not an issue. Had to check hot tub and notify of any issues within 30mins of arrival. Didn't know how to work it, figured it out after googling and was quite easy in end - more instructions may have helped us novices.

Lovely house, clean and new, provides everything you could need, smart TV, easy parking on street. Would come back if we ever return to seaham

It far exceeded our expectations in terms of space; the property comfortably fit our family of 5. It was so conveniently located that we were easily able to make quick trips back to the house for breaks from the beach. We loved being able to have access to the hot tub to warm up after a very cold and windy seaglass hunt.

It was so nice to have a washer, but with wet clothes from the beach, wet towels and bathing suits from the hot tub, and shower towels, it would have been ideal to have a dryer, or at least more drying racks/hooks to help everything dry out.

Advertised with a hot tub but once its booked this is not included in the price. Cameras positioned at the hot tub if you do use it. Owner called during our stay to access the property when we wasn't there so the engineer could service the hot tub, not ideal with our valuables left out.

The beds were very comfortable and the whole house was spotlessly clean. Beautiful, tasteful decor and a fantastic hot tub! Location was ideal, fairly central, safe and easy to find. Friendly, accommodating hosts who were faultlessly well-organised. Clear and non-intrusive rules. A really stunning property where all 5 in the family loved their stay. Thank you so much!

The TV in the main living room could have been a little bigger but we hardly watched it so not really a huge concern. Only 4 forks which seemed a little odd, but we found ways around it. It certainly didn't affect our stay.

Lovely spacious house, deceiving from the outside. Well thought out layout. Spotless. Everything we needed and more for our weekend.

The camera over the hot tub was creepy. The thought of someone being able to watch my teenage daughters didn’t sit right with me.
